Education
Biography Dr. Katz serves as director of Ohio Wesleyan’s Adolescent to Young Adult and Multi-Age licensure programs. His teaching experience includes work in traditional, alternative, public and private schools in New York City and Nashville, Tennessee. His teaching interests include the historical and philosophical foundations of education, economic education, and social studies teaching methods. Dr. Katz’s research interests include civic education, democratic education, and the responsiveness of curriculum to political and historical events. His most recent work examined the response of teacher education to desegregation. Courses
