Post Baccalaureate Program

OHIO WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY does not offer graduate programs. We welcome students to our program who have a bachelor’s degree but now wish to pursue licensure.  We have found students with undergraduate degrees to be highly motivated and bring a rich background of experience to your studies.  Students may earn a teaching license by taking courses in the OWU undergraduate teacher licensure programs.  However, you should note that you would need to be enrolled as a full-time student (typically four semesters).  It typically takes 4 or 5 semesters to complete the licensure requirements, including a semester of student teaching, and we offer very few late afternoon or evening classes.  Some semesters are full time, others are part time.

Please note that we do not have evening nor summer courses, and one of the requirements for admission to the program is a GPA of 3.0.

If you would like more information, please send a letter and university transcripts to:
